Artifacts

The first artifact I added is a link to my GitHub repository, which consists of various projects and experiments I have worked on. More specifically, clicking on the link will direct you to one of my recent projects. The goal of this project is to create a simple validation form for a web application using multiple programming languages while introducing myself to backend development. The repository contains multiple files and folders, all essential for ensuring the smooth operation of the web application (excluding database and server-side validations).

Throughout this project, I have learned various concepts related to backend programming. I explored different packages, and techniques for establishing secure user connections, and deepened my understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and others. Additionally, I learned methods for encrypting and decrypting values in JavaScript, which are crucial for protecting sensitive data such as passwords. While I am still learning, the main goal is to enhance my understanding of Cybersecurity and enhance my resume with projects.

This artifact represents me and my ability to play the violin. I have been playing the violin ever since I moved to the United States when I was around eight years old. Over those years, I have attended and participated and attendedin various performances and auditions. To this day, I continue to enjoy playing the violin, whether by helping my brother or learning new pieces from time to time. Although I play less frequently now, I still find joy in refining my skills, learning new pieces, and attending orchestra performances.

With eight years of experience, I would consider my skill level to be moderally high, though not professional. I can play in upper positions, understand most violin techniques, and can perform a wide range of pieces with practice. Playing the violin has also deepened my appreciation for other forms of music and inspired me to start my Spotify playlist in high school. The opportunities I have gained and experiences I have built through playing the violin have been invaluable.

This artifact is a short blog essay I wrote for ENGL398R. The essay is about my experience of saying goodbye to Hazelnut, the last standing dachshund. The essay's tone is intended to be humorous while also showing sorrow and chronicling our last time together before me and my parents decided to put her to sleep.
