Artifacts

The first artifact I added is a link to my GitHub repository, which consists of various projects and experiments I have worked on. More specifically, clicking on the link will direct you to one of my recent projects. The goal of this project is to create a simple validation form for a web application using multiple programming languages while introducing myself to backend development. The repository contains multiple files and folders, all essential for ensuring the smooth operation of the web application (excluding database and server-side validations).

Throughout this project, I have learned various concepts related to backend programming. I explored different packages, and techniques for establishing secure user connections, and deepened my understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and others. Additionally, I learned methods for encrypting and decrypting values in JavaScript, which are crucial for protecting sensitive data such as passwords. While I am still learning, the main goal is to enhance my understanding of Cybersecurity and enhance my resume with projects.

This artifact represents me and my ability to play the violin. I have been playing the violin ever since I moved to the United States when I was around eight years old. Over those years, I have attended and participated and attendedin various performances and auditions. To this day, I continue to enjoy playing the violin, whether by helping my brother or learning new pieces from time to time. Although I play less frequently now, I still find joy in refining my skills, learning new pieces, and attending orchestra performances.

With eight years of experience, I would consider my skill level to be moderally high, though not professional. I can play in upper positions, understand most violin techniques, and can perform a wide range of pieces with practice. Playing the violin has also deepened my appreciation for other forms of music and inspired me to start my Spotify playlist in high school. The opportunities I have gained and experiences I have built through playing the violin have been invaluable.

Money has gradually become a stronger motivation for me in recent years as I expand my knowledge in my career field. In the past years, I have tried not to view money as the most essential element in life, but as I grow more mature, earning an income will inevitably be important if I want to travel the world, achieve personal goals, and enjoy life comfortably. With my interest in cybersecurity, landing a job in this field will not only be fulfilling but also—hopefully—help cover the personal expenses I may accumulate. As one would say (just came up): "Happy income, happy in home - metaphorically but also literally."

Becoming more conscious of money and the current and potential future economic conditions, I have reduced spending on non-essential items, such as video games, and instead focused on investing in useful applications that will benefit me in the long run. Additionally, this awareness has made me more aware of investing, political news, and the major expenses I will need to consider once I graduate and move out. Plus, with my pre-existing conditions, being able to pay for medical bills will be especially important for my health but also my standard of living.
